I’m always looking for fresh ways to satisfy my sweet tooth without sacrificing all of my hard work or sabotaging my cleaning eating efforts.
When you have a sweet tooth like mine, you really have to have options that mimic the real thing without falling back into the trap of refined or processed sugar.
This new Greek yogurt treat that I’ve come up with certainly does not disappoint on either account.
You can go frozen or non-frozen with this, but when you love ice cream as much as my hubby and I do, frozen is definitely the way to go!
Before you head to the frozen treat section of your grocery store, consider making this treat at home to save yourself a little time and money and a lot of calories!
Cookie Dough Frozen Greek Yogurt
A healthy alternative to your typical cookie dough ice cream
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 TBS peanut butter
- 1-2 TBS honey
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp almond extract (optional)
- 1-2 tsp chocolate chips (optional)
- Whisk together all of the ingredients until smooth.
- Freeze for 30-60 minutes until ready to eat.
- Top with chocolate chips if desired.
